Given the success of The PLN Guitar, it is time to decline and explore the concept, going further. All beginner and amateur guitarists need basic chords to get started, improvise and play in the evenings by the fire - or somewhere else!
This practical book will be conceived as a true "bible" of guitar chords and will propose several hundreds, from the simplest to the most elaborate, jazz, rock or folk. After a typical introduction and some pages relating to the theory and the technique, the presentation of the body of the work will be the following one: on each page its agreement of guitar with:
• a grid indicating the placement of the fingers on the strings,
• a photo showing the position of the hand on the handle,
• and a comment / tip to help the reader.
Antoine Polin studied music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston where he graduated Cum Laude. Professional guitarist and holder of the State Diploma (DE) in jazz, he teaches guitar, harmony and leads ensembles at the Jazz school in Tours.
