After the entry in our catalog, a few years ago, of “The Elephant” extracted from the “Carnival of the Animals”, we now follow a new piece of this work, that of the sublime solo of the “Swan”. The sonorous romance for cello, accompanied by two pianos in the original score, was, with the express authorization of the composer, arranged for cello and piano by Charles Lebouc, organizer and cellist of the creation. This edition makes this contemporary version of the famous cello solo available for the first time in Urtext score. We reproduce the part of the 2nd piano in small print, making it possible to compare the two versions._
