This volume 4 of the series Getting Started ... the Organ, entirely manual, is for beginners adults (or teenagers). He synthesizes volumes 1 to 3 (for young organists) of the same collection, and reshapes the progression to take into account the maturity and wishes of older musicians. As with each of the collections in this series, the emphasis has been placed on the juxtaposition of old pieces and contemporary works, especially written for this project. A very big thank you to the composers who have accepted to join this educational work: Michel Boedec, Stefano Bonilauri, Laurent Carle, Anthony Girard, Alain Mabit, Christopher Marchand, Bruce Mather, Benoit Mernier. Based on a very thorough technical analysis of the "organ game", Pascale Rouet dissects the slightest difficulties, analyzes gesture by gesture all the basic technique, and chooses the pieces adapted to a progressive mastery of keyboards. Ancient, modern and contemporary are thus united in a superb synthesis at the service of Music. We can only rejoice at the publication of this innovative method, dedicated to the first years of learning, and warmly congratulate its author, because no one doubts the services and benefits that will offer these volumes eminently educational!
