This comprehensive musical training course covers a very broad repertoire, from Gregorian to contemporary music, traditional music from here and elsewhere to jazz and song.
Most of the work is done on repertoire, augmented with specific exercises, and various activities (games, surveys, improvisation and writing) stimulating the spirit of creativity.

Each chapter is divided into two parts: rhythmic and melodic - a very particular care is brought, first to the corporal impregnation, then to the understanding of the rhythmic language (memorized, read and written) - likewise, the melodic part is focused on the perception of the heights and intervals from which the reading technique is derived (simultaneously in keys of Sol and Fa), as well as the tonal and harmonic sense. Theoretical notions are discussed throughout the book.
A work (Camille Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals) serves as a guiding thread for the work of the year.

Many excerpts are recorded on the included CD, to help the beginning of the works by memorizing and feeling.
An instrumental work is proposed in addition: the CD also includes, in addition to audio tracks, a section comprising (in PDF format, to print) separate parts adapted to each instrument (keys, transpositions).
